MEDAL RUSH COMPETITIONS
Throughout the year K.B.M.A.C. host several competitions through their Medal Rush events calendar.
Pre-Covid, there were four qualifying competitions a year, two held in Wales and two held in England, before being able to advance to the K.B. British Championships. Over the last few years we have slowly began rebuilding our competitions to this framework.
Each year the competition between the K.B.M.A.C. clubs intensifies as each competitor vies for their chance to bring home a British Championship trophy!
To date there are numerous winners and runners up who have competed and continue to compete. The competition is a chance for the students to perform and show off their skills within different categories. We have the softer skilled categories, such as kata and demo's to the more physical categories of grappling, light contact empty hand sparring and stick sparring. There is something for all students at the competitions, allowing our students to compete with a variety of different disciplined skills.
